Exceptional 1970s hand painted silk chiffon dress with black velvet trim and a banded waist by Doree Leventhal. Flutter sleeve bodice. Olive green acetate lining with an additional layer of pellon at the skirt to emphasize structure and fullness. Hand set metal zipper at the back. Gorgeous vivid colors, even more so in person.
Condition: Great! Please see photos. - Small hole at back near zipper - Some wear to chiffon including: minor runs, a couple pinhead holes, small tear on skirt and stain towards bottom of skirt. - A Larger tear patched with misty fuse towards bottom of skirt at the back. Gets lost in the volume - Tearing at shoulder lining. does not effect wear.
Note: drape waist over hanger to store as the shoulders can not support the weight of the skirt
