
Absolutely stunning 1960s silk chiffon gown by Helen Rose, the designer of Grace Kelly's famous wedding dress. Fitted at the front of the bodice with a high neckline, defined waist accented with a rhinestone encrusted metal buckle and a full skirt. Dramatic cape back. Fitted two-tone under-dress, off white on the front and brown at the back. Fastens with a plastic zipper at the lining and two self fabric buttons at the back of the cape. The drama and movement of this piece is incredible in person!

Condition: Good! Sold AS IS. Presents beautifully with some flaws upon examination. Dry Cleaned and ready to wear. - Some faint discoloration on the white chiffon at the front of the bodice, will go unnoticed when wearing - Some missing rhinestones, some replaced rhinestones, some glue residue on replaced rhinestones. Only noticed upon close inspection - Fabric wear to chiffon lining at back of bodice and straps with a tear at the straps. The straps may need to be reinforced. String button loop has been mended. - Some staining and snags on the chiffon skirt that get lost in the volume. A large water mark on the white chiffon that goes through to the lining. Slightly darker in person. - Some small holes on the chiffon around the hemline - Some discoloration / staining on the lining - Discoloration on interior of bodice (makeup?) Armpit guards are slightly discolored, could easily be removed.
